During the Spanish Regime, there was no school existing in the place. The pupils learned to read and write with the help of their parents. In 1955, through the efforts of the people of Pineda they were able to build a three classroom building made of wood, housing pupils in Grade I to Grade III with a teacher in the person of Mr. Miguel Menguito.
It was then named Pineda Elementary School and the first Graduation was held in March, 1961.
At present, Pineda Elementary School is a big and beautiful school situated in a 7285 sq. meter lot with 1693 pupils, 37 teachers and a principal, plus 10 utility personnel.
